MENACatalyst partnership with ANIMA Investment Network
Tapping into the power of innovation and entrepreneurship, MENACatalyst is reaching out to industry partners across the globe to create new opportunities for Palestinian startups while building a resilient virtual economy. Although the Palestinian startup scene remains comparatively small, it is none the less impressive that a spirited group of entrepreneurs are working towards overcoming boundaries and seizing a world of boundless opportunities.
Joining MENACatalyst on this journey is ANIMA Investment Network—a multi-country platform supporting economic development via improved access to investments across the Mediterranean. Along with this deal comes ANIMA's extensive network of over ‘80 governmental agencies and international business, as well as innovation and financing networks.’
Per the agreement, MENACatalyst will take part in ANIMA’s signature program namely THE NEXT SOCIETY. This EU-funded program entails a community of economic and social actors from across Europe and the Mediterranean. As a result, MENACatalyst’s network of startups will gain access to THE NEXT SOCIETY’ Start-Up Booster Track which includes a range of programs, including Innovators Academy, Acceleration Bootcamps, International Business Development Missions, Entrepreneur Mentoring, Power Meetings, Soft Landing, and Challenge Calls.
THE NEXT SOCIETY targets high-potential startups and provides them with access to networks of support needed to compete in global markets. With enhanced access to quality mentorship and investment opportunities and even acceleration bootcamps, Palestinian startups will benefit from an array of game-changing opportunities to take their ventures to the next level. The agreement also entails enhanced media exposure for MENACatalyst as well as ANIMA's ongoing activities including event calls and cross-platform features and promotions.
This agreement comes at a major turning point for Palestinian startups looking to not only embrace but capitalize on the growing potential of international markets. This agreement follows ongoing MoU's signed with major regional players MITEF PAN Arab and Wamda. Both these organizations boast an impressive network of investors, and industry experts to launch regional startups onto the international stage.
MENACatalyst has become a major player within the field on innovation and entrepreneurship partnering up with regional entrepreneurial launching pads like Dtech, In5, Innovest ME, Endeavor RIT Dubai, Oasis500 and Beyond Capital. MENACatalyst has also collaborated with international based venture capital firms and startup hubs based out of the UK, such as Tech Nation, Level39, In5, and UK: MENA Hub. Without discounting the impressive range of committed diaspora investors, industry partners, and mentors that are part of MENACatalyst's expansive global network.
What sets these partner organizations and ongoing collaborators apart is their dedication to upscaling startups by providing access to quality mentorship and investment opportunities, as well as acceleration programs designed to build high-impact startups.
Trapped in a landscape dominated by restrictions and constraints, MENACatalyst has embraced the power of entrepreneurship to help Palestinians everywhere overcome boundaries and seize a world of limitless opportunities. MENACatalyst’s latest partnership with ANIMA further demonstrates their ongoing commitment to expanding the scope and impact of Palestinian innovation and entrepreneurship.
